WE CANNOT HELP MASTINI WITHOUT YOUR HELP!

A single mastino needing our help could require hundreds of pounds worth of veterinary treatment including neutering, boarding or fostering costs, travelling costs sometimes involving hundreds of miles, the cost of microchipping etc.

Lately we have had people saying that they want to adopt one of our dogs and then at the last minute trying to HAGGLE over the adoption fee...

A message for this kind of person...

 Please accept that we are a CHARITY, not backyard breeders or dog dealers.

We make no profit from the dogs that we rehome as most of them have needed hundreds of pounds worth of help.

Proof of any and all of the related and justified costs relating to any individual dog can be produced upon request.  These dogs are ALWAYS much more expensive to rehabilitate than the 'normal' breeds, hence our higher than 'normal' fees.

To request an adoption fee of £150, £250 or even £350 should not seem unreasonable to you for the breed of dog you are getting.  

Furthermore, by haggling to 'get the price down' you are risking us stopping the adoption altogether because if you are cheap with a charity - we believe you are going to be cheap with one of our dogs and will find them a much better home with people who really value the magnificence of the Mastino!
